Collected during account creation or profile setup:

Password - used to secure your account; encrypted and never visible to anyone.

Contacts - with your explicit permission, we may access your contact list to recommend fitness buddies, improve social features, and enhance personalization. 
Note: Your information is securely stored on our servers and not shared without your permission.

b. Health & Fitness Information (Mandatory for Personalization)

We collect health-related data to create customized fitness plans:

Height and Weight - for calculating BMI and fitness recommendations.

Fitness Goals - like weight loss, muscle gain, or endurance training.

Activity Levels - includes workout types, frequency, and duration.

c. Wearable Device Data (Optional)

6. Background Location Access

How and Why We Use Location

YoFit may request access to your device's background location to enable accurate workout tracking and activity insights (e.g., tracking runs, walks, or outdoor exercises). 
This allows users to record movement routes, measure distance, and calculate calories burned, even when the app is not actively open.

7. Data Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards:

Encryption - applied during data transfer and storage.

Access Controls - restricted access to authorized personnel only.

Secure Servers - compliant with global security standards.

8. Subscriptions & payments

MFC offers free features and Premium subscription features. All paid subscriptions are purchased, billed, and managed exclusively via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process or store payment card details. Subscription terms (price and renewal frequency) are presented at purchase in the store.

9. Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel subscriptions at any time through the App Store or Google Play. Cancellation stops future billing; access remains until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies; MFC does not issue refunds directly. 

 

10. Your Rights and Controls

Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA) or CCPA (California).

You have the right to:

Update or correct your information

Withdraw consent (e.g., disconnect wearables or contact access)

Delete your data (subject to legal obligations)

Object to processing for marketing or analytics

11. Data Deletion Request

If you have created an account in our app using Facebook or Meta Login, you can request the deletion of your data at any time. 
To request data deletion, please send us an email at [knight.tecc@gmail.com from your registered email with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” 
Once we receive your request, we will:

  • Verify your identity,
  • Delete all personal data associated with your account (including name, email, and any data imported from Meta), and
  • Confirm the deletion via email within 30 days.

You may also delete your data directly by removing your account within the app. Deleting your account will remove all information associated with your profile from our systems.

Enhances app functionality on Android devices by integrating various Google services.

13. Google Ads (AdWords)

Promotes the App effectively through targeted advertising.

14. Google Analytics for Firebase

Monitors and analyzes app crashes to ensure stability.

Google AdMob Privacy Policy: We do not collect or share any personal data without user consent, and all data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users will be notified of major changes within the app, and updates will take effect upon publication. Continued use after updates implies acceptance.
