This Privacy Policy describes how Wordfall ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information You Provide

  • Nickname: When you participate in the Daily Challenge leaderboard, you may provide a nickname. This nickname is publicly visible to other players on the leaderboard.
  • Leaderboard Scores: Your score, longest word found, and related game statistics are submitted to the leaderboard when you complete a Daily Challenge.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Local Game Data: Game saves, player statistics (high scores, total words found, games played, play time), and user preferences are stored locally on your device using shared preferences. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to submit a score to the leaderboard.
  • Advertising Data: When you view rewarded ads, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
  • Purchase Data: When you make in-app purchases, our payment processing partner (RevenueCat) may collect transaction-related data in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not directly collect or store your payment information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Display your nickname and score on the Daily Challenge leaderboard.
  • Save your game progress and statistics locally on your device.

Data Retention

  • Leaderboard data is stored on Firebase servers and may be retained indefinitely.
  • Local data (game saves, statistics, preferences) is stored on your device and persists until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the third-party services listed above, strictly for the purposes described in this policy.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
