Privacy Policy for Weather Forecast & UV Index

This Privacy Policy applies to the Weather Forecast & UV Index mobile application (the “Application”) developed by Emirhan Salihoğlu (the “Service Provider”).
The Application is provided as a free service with optional Premium features available through in-app purchases.

1. Information We Collect
The Application may collect limited information necessary to provide weather forecasts, operate its features, and improve the user experience.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the Application may access your approximate or precise location to provide local weather information. It may also process information such as your device language and region settings, device model, operating system version, and anonymous diagnostic information or crash reports where applicable.
The Application does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as your name, phone number, or email address unless you voluntarily provide such information, for example, when contacting the Service Provider for support.
2. Location Data
Weather Forecast & UV Index may use your device’s location to provide accurate local weather forecasts and UV Index information.
Location access is requested only after receiving your permission. Location information is used only as necessary to provide location-based weather features and is not sold to third parties.
You can disable or modify location access at any time through your device’s privacy and location settings. Certain location-based features of the Application may not function correctly if location access is disabled.
3. Weather Data
Weather information displayed within the Application is provided using third-party weather data services.
To retrieve relevant weather forecasts and UV information, the Application may send information such as your approximate location, geographic coordinates, or a city or location selected by you to the applicable weather service provider.
This information is transmitted only as necessary to retrieve the weather information requested through the Application.
4. In-App Purchases and Premium Features
The Application offers optional Premium features through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
Subscription and purchase management may be handled through RevenueCat. In order to verify purchases, determine subscription status, restore purchases, and provide access to Premium features, RevenueCat may process information such as a subscriber identifier, device identifiers such as IDFV, purchase history, and subscription status.
The Service Provider does not receive or store your payment card details or banking information. Payments made through the Application are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
5. Automatically Collected Information
The Application and services used by the Application may automatically process limited technical and diagnostic information necessary for operation, security, analytics, and performance monitoring.
This information may include device type, iOS or iPadOS version, Application version, preferred language, general usage statistics, crash and diagnostic information, and IP address where required by the services used by the Application.
This information is generally used to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Application.
6. Third-Party Services
The Application may use trusted third-party services to provide certain functionality. These may include Apple for App Store services, in-app purchases, and diagnostic functionality; RevenueCat for subscription and purchase management; and third-party weather data providers for weather forecasts and UV information.
These third-party services may process limited information necessary to perform their respective functions and may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.
The Service Provider does not sell users’ personal information to these third parties.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Most Application preferences and settings may be stored locally on your device.
The Service Provider does not intentionally maintain a database containing a historical record of your personal location or weather searches unless such functionality is explicitly provided within the Application.
Information processed by third-party services may be retained according to the respective service provider’s data retention policies.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact the Service Provider so that appropriate action can be taken.
9. Security
The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect information processed through the Application.
Where applicable, information transmitted between the Application and external services is transmitted using secure, encrypted connections.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the Application, its features, applicable services, or legal requirements.
Any changes will be made available within the Application or on the page where this Privacy Policy is published.
The effective date displayed at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when the policy was last updated.
