Globid Inc. ("we", "our", "us"), registered in Canada, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application Voice Notes (“App”) handles your information.

The App processes:

Audio input from your microphone (to convert speech to text) — processing is performed locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

Files you choose to save or load (voice recordings and transcriptions) — stored only on your device.

2. Permissions Used

The App requests the following permissions:

Microphone — to record audio for speech-to-text conversion.

Storage/Files — to save and load your recordings and text notes.

No access to camera, contacts, or device location is requested or used.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics — to collect anonymous usage statistics (no personal data).

Google AdMob — to display advertisements. In the future, personalized ads may be shown, subject to your consent where required by law.

Google Speech-to-Text API — for speech recognition, processed locally on the device.

4. Data Storage and Security

We do not operate our own servers for storing user content.

All voice recordings and transcriptions remain on your device until you delete them.

Any data transmitted for third-party services uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us for removal.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:

Access the data stored on your device.

Delete any stored notes or recordings.

Opt out of personalized advertising in your device’s ad settings.
