This Privacy Policy explains how Unit Converter ("App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App.
We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little information as necessary to provide and support the App.
1. Information We Collect
Unit Converter does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying information in order to use the App.
We do not directly collect or maintain personal profiles of our users.
However, the App uses third-party services, including advertising services, that may automatically collect or process certain information as described below.
2. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK.
These third-party services may automatically collect or process information such as:
IP address;
device identifiers;
advertising identifiers, where permitted;
approximate location derived from an IP address;
information about interactions with advertisements and the App;
app launch and usage information;
diagnostic information;
crash and performance information;
device and operating system information; and
information used for advertising, analytics, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.
This information is processed by the applicable third-party provider according to its own privacy policies and terms.

We do not control the data-processing practices of third-party advertising providers.
3. App Tracking Transparency
On supported Apple devices, the App may use Apple's App Tracking Transparency ("ATT") framework to request permission before allowing tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies.
If you allow tracking, advertising partners may use the device's advertising identifier and other permitted information for purposes such as personalized advertising and advertising measurement.
If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the App will respect that choice and will not access the advertising identifier for tracking in a manner that requires ATT authorization.
You can change your tracking permissions at any time through your device's privacy settings.
Declining tracking permission does not prevent you from using the App.
4. GDPR and Advertising Consent
For users in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other jurisdictions where consent may be required, the App may display a consent request relating to advertising and the use of personal data.
Depending on your choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information for purposes such as:
storing or accessing information on a device;
providing advertisements;
measuring advertising performance;
understanding audiences;
preventing fraud and abuse; and
delivering personalized advertisements where you have provided the necessary consent.
Where required by applicable law, personalized advertising or other consent-based processing will only take place after the required consent has been obtained.
You may be able to review or change your privacy choices through the consent interface provided within the App or through applicable device privacy settings.
5. Non-Personalized and Limited Advertising
If you do not consent to personalized advertising or do not grant tracking permission, the App may still display non-personalized or limited advertisements where permitted.
Such advertisements may still involve limited processing of information necessary to deliver advertisements, measure basic performance, maintain security, prevent fraud, or comply with applicable law.
6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App may offer in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not directly receive or store your complete payment card information.
Apple may process information related to purchases, subscriptions, transaction history, and your Apple Account in accordance with Apple's own privacy policies.

The App may receive transaction-related information from Apple that is necessary to determine whether you have purchased or subscribed to a particular feature.
7. Notifications
The App does not currently request permission to send push notifications.
8. Accounts
Unit Converter does not currently provide user accounts.
You are not required to register, create a profile, or provide login credentials to use the App.
9. Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect
We do not intentionally request or directly collect information such as:
your name;
email address;
telephone number;
postal address;
contacts;
photographs;
precise GPS location;
health information; or
user-generated personal profiles.
This does not include technical or advertising-related information automatically processed by third-party services as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
10. Data Retention
Because we do not maintain user accounts or directly maintain personal user profiles, we generally do not retain personal information about individual users on our own servers.
Third-party providers may retain information they process for periods determined by their own privacy policies, legal obligations, advertising systems, fraud-prevention requirements, and data-retention practices.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, including the right to:
request access to personal information;
request correction or deletion;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
request data portability; and
submit a complaint to an applicable data protection authority.
Because most advertising-related information is processed directly by third-party providers, some requests may need to be submitted directly to the applicable provider.

12. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Certain U.S. privacy laws may classify some forms of personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising as "sharing," "targeted advertising," or, in some circumstances, a "sale" of personal information.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation.
Where required, you may limit advertising-related processing through available privacy consent controls, Apple's App Tracking Transparency settings, and other privacy controls available on your device.
13. Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been collected in violation of applicable law, please contact us.
14. Security
We take reasonable steps to limit the information directly handled by the App and rely on established platform and third-party services for advertising and payment processing.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
15. International Data Processing
Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you reside.
Where required, those providers are responsible for using appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers of personal information.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when we add or change App features, advertising providers, third-party services, or legal requirements.
When this Privacy Policy is updated, the "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be revised.
