Tromba ("the Application") is an application developed to communicate with and control compatible pool equipment.
This Privacy Policy explains how Tromba uses device permissions and information when you use the Application.
Location Information
Tromba may request access to the device's location information in order to detect and communicate with compatible pool equipment using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
On certain Android versions, location permission is required by the Android operating system to perform Bluetooth device discovery and scanning.
The location permission is therefore used to enable the detection and communication with nearby compatible pool equipment.
Tromba does not use location information to track the user's movements, create a location history, or provide targeted advertising.
Background Location
Tromba may request background location permission when required to maintain the Bluetooth-related functionality of the Application while the Application is running in the background.
Background location access is used only to support the communication and operation of compatible pool equipment and is not intended to monitor, track, or record the user's physical movements.
Tromba does not sell, rent, or share the user's location information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Tromba uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to discover, connect to, communicate with, configure, and control compatible pool equipment.
The Application may process Bluetooth-related information such as the equipment name, Bluetooth identifier or address, connection status, and equipment operating information.
This information is used to provide the requested equipment communication and control functions.
Use of Information
The information and permissions used by Tromba are intended to provide the application's functions, including:
Detecting compatible pool equipment nearby.
Establishing Bluetooth Low Energy connections.
Communicating with connected pool equipment.
Reading equipment status and technical information.
Sending commands to compatible equipment.
Configuring and controlling supported equipment.
Collection and Storage
Tromba does not intentionally collect or store a history of the user's geographical location.
Information required for communication with compatible equipment may be processed locally on the user's device to provide the requested functionality.
Sharing of Information
Tromba does not sell, rent, or trade users' personal information.
Location information is not shared with third parties for advertising or targeted marketing purposes.
Information may be processed by third-party services when necessary for the operation, security, distribution, or technical support of the Application.
Third-Party Services
Tromba may use Android system services and third-party services required for application functionality, security, diagnostics, or distribution.
Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and terms of service.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by Tromba. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
Tromba is not specifically directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
User Permissions
Users can manage and revoke Tromba's permissions through the Android device settings.
Disabling Bluetooth or location permissions required by Android for Bluetooth discovery may prevent some Tromba functions from operating correctly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
