We do not collect any personal information. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we track your usage, location, or identity. We do not have servers that store your search history or extracted content.

How we handle your content:

Video Links: When you paste a link to extract captions, recipes, or lists, the App accesses the internet solely to retrieve the text content from that specific public link. This process is ephemeral; the link is not sent to any analytics server.

Extraction History: The "Automatic History" feature stores your past clips locally on your device so you can access them offline. This data never leaves your phone.

3. Device Permissions

To provide the features described, TokScribe may request specific permissions. These are used only for functionality:

Internet Access: Required to fetch the text content (captions, recipes) from the video links you provide.

Storage / Photos (Read/Write): Required to save your extractions as Text files (.txt) or Images (.png) to your device gallery or file system.

4. Third-Party Services

No Ads: The App is ad-free. We do not use third-party advertising networks.

No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services to track user behavior.

External Links: The App processes links from third-party platforms (specifically TikTok). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party platforms. Using TokScribe does not grant the third-party platform access to your device beyond what you have already authorized via their own apps or websites.

5. Data Retention

Because we do not collect data on our servers, we have no data to retain.

Local Data: Any history or saved files exist only on your device.

Deletion: You can clear your history or uninstall the App at any time, which will permanently delete all locally stored app data.

6. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. As the App does not collect any data at all, it is safe for use by all ages.
