Privacy Policy for ThinKid

Last Updated: March 28, 2026

ThinKid ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information to provide and improve the services of ThinKid:

Account Information: When you register or use the app, we may store your account data on our secure Cloud Servers to sync your settings across devices.

Technical Data: We do not collect GPS location, photos, contacts, or notification data from other apps.

2. Use of Sensitive Permissions

ThinKid requires specific Android permissions to function as a lock screen and parental control tool:

Accessibility Service: We use the Accessibility API solely to detect when the device is being unlocked or when specific apps are launched to ensure the lock screen interface is displayed correctly. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive data through this service.

Foreground Service: We use Foreground Services to ensure the application remains active in the background, allowing the lock screen to trigger reliably when the screen is turned on (especially on Android 14+).

3. Data Storage (Cloud)

User data and app settings are stored securely on Cloud Storage. This allows parents to manage and sync configurations remotely. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect this data from unauthorized access.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Flip as our payment gateway provider for any in-app transactions. Your payment details are processed directly by Flip and are subject to their own privacy policy. We do not store your credit card or bank account information on our servers.

5. Children’s Privacy and Target Audience

ThinKid is designed for Parents. The target audience is adults who wish to manage and monitor their children's device usage. While the app is used on devices accessed by children, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.

6. User Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your data stored in our cloud. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us at the email provided below.

7. Account Deletion Request

ThinKid value your privacy and provide a simple way to delete your account and associated data. In compliance with Google Play’s Data Safety policy, you can request data deletion at any time.

What data will be deleted?

When you request to delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our cloud servers:

  • Your registration email and profile information.
  • All saved parental control settings and configurations.
  • Any activity logs associated with your account.
