M and L Trading PLC (“M and L Trading,” “Tena Yistilign,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Tena Yistilign mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Tena Yistilign is a healthcare technology platform that enables patients and other users to discover and connect with healthcare practitioners, view practitioner information, book appointments, communicate with practitioners, and access other healthcare-related services made available through the platform.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal information when you use Tena Yistilign.
By creating an account or using Tena Yistilign, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your personal information as described here, where consent is required by applicable law.

This may include health information provided by you, medical information provided during your interaction with a Practitioner, health records, prescriptions or medication-related information, consultation-related information, and other information necessary to provide the healthcare-related service you request.
Health information is sensitive personal information. We process such information only for legitimate purposes connected with providing, operating, securing, and improving the Service and in accordance with applicable law and the permissions or legal basis applicable to the processing.
1.4 Communications
If you communicate with Tena Yistilign, a Practitioner, or our support team through available features, we may process information contained in those communications where necessary to provide the requested Service, provide customer support, maintain security, investigate complaints, or comply with applicable law.
Where a communication or call is recorded, we will provide the applicable notice and obtain consent where required by law.
1.5 Device and Technical Information
When you use the application, we may receive technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, including device type and operating system, application version, IP address, device identifiers or similar technical identifiers, crash/diagnostic/performance information, date and time of access, and information concerning use of the application.

3. Healthcare Practitioner Information
Tena Yistilign may collect and display information relating to Practitioners who use or are listed on the platform, including name, professional qualification, specialty, professional registration or licensing information, practice information, location, consultation fees, visiting or availability information, professional profile information, and photographs.
We may use this information to facilitate the connection between Users and Practitioners and to operate the Practitioner listing and booking features.
Practitioners are responsible for ensuring that information they provide is accurate, current, lawful, and appropriate for publication.
4. Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information simply because you use Tena Yistilign.
We may disclose or provide access to personal information where reasonably necessary to operate the Service, including to:
4.1 Healthcare Practitioners
Information necessary to facilitate an appointment, consultation, communication, or other requested healthcare service may be shared with the relevant Practitioner.
4.2 Service Providers
We may use trusted third-party service providers that assist us with cloud hosting and data storage, application infrastructure, authentication, notifications and messaging, communications, video/audio or other communication services, payment processing, technical support, security, analytics, and application performance.
4.3 Legal and Regulatory Requirements
We may disclose information where required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, court order, governmental request, or lawful process, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights or property, protect safety, investigate fraud/abuse/security incidents, enforce our Terms & Conditions, or respond to lawful government or regulatory requests.
5. Health Records
Where Tena Yistilign provides health-record functionality, information may be generated through your interaction with the platform or through your interaction with participating Practitioners.
Health information created by a Practitioner remains subject to the responsibilities of that Practitioner as the healthcare professional who creates or provides the information.
If you request deletion of your Tena Yistilign account or records, certain information may be deleted or de-identified where legally and technically possible. However, information that a Practitioner is legally required to retain, or information maintained independently by a Practitioner, may continue to be retained by that Practitioner.
6. Payments
Where payment services are available, payment transactions may be processed through third-party payment service providers.
Tena Yistilign may receive transaction-related information necessary to confirm and manage a payment, refund, or booking. Payment credentials may be processed directly by the applicable payment provider rather than stored by Tena Yistilign, depending on the payment method used.
7. Calls, Audio and Video Communications
Where Tena Yistilign provides call, audio, or video communication functionality, information necessary to establish and operate the communication may be processed.
Where applicable, calls or communications may be recorded or stored for purposes such as service quality, security, customer support, dispute resolution, or other lawful purposes. Where recording requires consent, the applicable notice and consent mechanism will be provided.

We take reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.
However, no electronic transmission, storage system, or internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy changes the provisions of the Tena Yistilign Terms & Conditions concerning the independent professional responsibilities of Practitioners.

This Privacy Policy is intended to operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of Ethiopia, including the Personal Data Protection Proclamation No. 1321/2024 and other applicable data protection, technology, healthcare, and telecommunications requirements.
