PRIVACY POLICY
TechQuote — Privacy Policy Effective: June 2026
Overview TechQuote ("the App") is designed to work entirely on your device. We built it so you can create job estimates without creating an account and without sending your business data to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected.
Information We Do NOT Collect We do not collect, store, or transmit your clients, estimates, tax settings, or any content you create. All of that data is saved locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to export or share a backup or PDF yourself.
Advertising The free version of the App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob and its partner ad networks. To serve and measure ads, these networks may collect device-level information — such as a device advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / IDFA), IP address, coarse location, and general usage signals. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy & Terms (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and applicable ad-partner policies. We do not share any of the business data you create in the App with these ad networks.
Your Choices & Consent Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK under GDPR, or in California under the CPRA), you will be asked for consent or given the ability to opt out of personalized advertising the first time ads load. You can change your choice at any time from Settings, and you can also limit ad tracking through your system privacy settings ("Limit Ad Tracking" / App Tracking Transparency on iOS, or "Delete/Reset advertising ID" on Android). Purchasing "Remove Ads" disables advertising entirely.
Data Backup & Export When you export a backup or generate a PDF, that file is created on your device and shared using your device's standard sharing tools. You are solely responsible for where you send or store those files.
Children's Privacy The App is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date within the App.
