## Summary

Studio Italiano does not collect, transmit, share, or sell any personal information. All your learning progress is stored locally on your device. You can stop using the app at any time, and all your data goes with it.

## Information We Collect

**We collect nothing.**

Studio Italiano operates entirely on your device. We do not run servers, analytics, advertising networks, or third-party trackers. The app has no user accounts, sign-in, or registration.

## Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following on your device only, using Apple's UserDefaults system:

- Words and phrases you have marked as learned
- Your study session history (counts, dates, accuracy)
- Achievements you have unlocked
- Your daily streak
- Your study preferences (audio settings, daily goal, reminder time)
- Your in-app purchase status (whether you have unlocked Pro)

This data never leaves your device. If you uninstall Studio Italiano, all this data is deleted.

## In-App Purchases

Studio Italiano offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Studio Italiano Pro") that unlocks additional features. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or any other personal information from Apple. We only receive a signed receipt from Apple confirming that a purchase was made, which the app uses to unlock the Pro features locally.

To restore a previous purchase on a new device, the app uses Apple's StoreKit "restore purchases" feature, which is also handled entirely by Apple.

## Notifications

If you enable Daily Reminders in Settings, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated and delivered by iOS itself — they do not involve any servers and do not contain any personal information.

## Audio Pronunciation

Studio Italiano uses Apple's built-in text-to-speech voices to pronounce Italian words. This is handled entirely by iOS on your device. No audio data is sent to or received from any server.

## Children's Privacy

Studio Italiano is appropriate for users of all ages and does not collect any information about anyone, including children.

## Third Parties

We do not share data with any third parties because we do not collect any data to share.

The only third party involved is Apple, who processes in-app purchases. Their privacy policy applies to those transactions: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

## Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in an app update's release notes.
