SriCaller ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy.   • Phone Number: We collect your phone number to create and verify your account via SMS/OTP and to serve as your unique identifier within the App.
  • Contact List (Phonebook): We request access to your device's contact list to help you identify which of your contacts are also using SriCaller, so you can easily connect and chat with them. We do not share your contact list with third parties.
  • Camera and Photos: We request access to your device's camera and photo gallery to allow you to update your profile picture, send images in chats, and make video calls.
  • Microphone: We require access to your device's microphone to allow you to record voice messages and make audio or video calls.
  • User Profile Information: We collect the name you provide, your "about" status, and your profile picture.
  • Chat and Call Data: We process your messages and call signaling data to deliver them to the intended recipients.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, verify, and manage your account.
  • Facilitate user-to-user communications (chats, audio calls, and video calls).
  • Sync your contacts to show you who is available to chat on the App.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • Send you push notifications regarding new messages and calls.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share information in the following situations:

  • With Other Users: Your profile name, picture, "about" status, and phone number may be visible to other users you communicate with on the App.
  • Service Providers: We may share your phone number with our third-party SMS gateway (e.g., SMSGo) strictly for the purpose of sending you a login OTP.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes.

4. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account information as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and personal data, you may do so within the App's settings or by contacting us directly. Upon deletion, your profile and chat history will be removed from our active databases.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates.
