Sprout Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of Sprout: Safe AI for Kids, developed by Yusuf Yacoobali, can request deletion of their account and associated data.

Delete your account inside the app

Open Sprout.

Go to Settings.

Scroll down.

Tap Delete Account.

Follow the confirmation instructions.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Request deletion without the app

You can request deletion by emailing:

yyacoobali@gmail.com

Use the subject line:

Sprout Account Deletion Request

Please email us from the email address connected to your Sprout account. Include the account email address if you are contacting us from a different address.

A parent or guardian may submit a request on behalf of their child. We may contact you to confirm ownership of the account before completing the request.

Data that will be deleted

When your request is completed, we will delete the Sprout account and data associated with it, including, where applicable:

Account and authentication information

Profile information

Saved conversations and generated content

App preferences and activity associated with the account

Deletion requests will normally be completed within 30 days.

Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention or accounting requirements. Any retained information will only be kept for as long as necessary.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Sprout account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.

To prevent future charges, open Google Play, go to Payments and subscriptions, select Subscriptions, choose Sprout and tap Cancel subscription.
