The Application requires access to your device's microphone (`RECORD_AUDIO` permission) for its core functionality:

• Purpose: The microphone is used exclusively to capture ambient sound waves in real time to calculate and display sound pressure levels (decibels / dB).
• Local Processing Only: Audio signals are processed locally in temporary memory (RAM) on your device.
• No Recording or Storage: The Application does NOT record, create audio files, store, or save raw sound recordings.
• No Transmission: Audio data never leaves your device and is never transmitted over any network or shared with any third party.

3. Information Collection and Sharing

• No Personal Data Collected: The Application does not collect personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, physical address, IP address, device identifiers, or location).
• No Tracking or Analytics: The Application does not contain cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking/advertising SDKs.
• No Third-Party Access: Because no data is collected, no user data is shared, sold, or disclosed to any third-party companies or external services.

The Application does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 16 (or any applicable age of consent). Since the Application collects no personal data from any user, it is safe for users of all ages.
