SolarFlow privacy policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
SolarFlow doesn’t collect any data. There’s no account, no analytics, no tracking and no SolarFlow server.
Your Home Assistant
SolarFlow connects directly from your iPhone to the Home Assistant address you enter and only reads from it: the list of your sensors, to suggest the right ones; the live values, history and statistics of the sensors you choose; the Energy dashboard’s settings; and your home’s location, for the weather. It never changes anything in Home Assistant. Your access token is stored in your iPhone’s keychain, never leaves your device except to authenticate with your own Home Assistant, and is deleted when you disconnect.
Weather and location
To show the weather, the sky and the season at your home, SolarFlow asks Apple’s WeatherKit for the conditions at the home location set in your Home Assistant, or at a place you choose in Settings. To find that place, what you type in the search is sent to Apple Maps. The coordinates are sent to Apple for the weather and handled under Apple’s own privacy policy. SolarFlow doesn’t use your phone’s location, and keeps the coordinates only on your device.
Purchases
The free trial and the lifetime unlock are handled by the App Store. SolarFlow only learns whether you own them.
Deleting your data
Everything SolarFlow keeps lives on your iPhone. Disconnecting Home Assistant in Settings deletes the address, the sensor choices, the token, the weather location and the statistics saved for offline use. Deleting the app deletes everything else.
