Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the SkElDictionary application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") collects, uses and shares information when you use it.
1. Collection and Use of Information
The application is designed to protect your privacy. Most features work locally on your device. However, some features require data processing by third parties:
A. Firebase Crashlytics (Stability Analysis)
For the purpose of improving quality and fixing errors, the application uses the Firebase Crashlytics service (provided by Google LLC). In the event of an application crash, technical data is automatically sent, including:
- Device type and model.
- Android operating system version.
- System state at the time of the error (free memory, screen orientation).
- A unique installation identifier (but not your name or email). This data is used exclusively for technical diagnostics.
B. Google Drive and Identity Services
The application allows you to back up your data to your personal Google Drive.
- The application only accesses your drive if you manually launch this function.
- We only access files created by this application (Backup).
- Official Google Identity libraries are used for login, which securely verify your identity without the application seeing your password.
C. Voice functions
The application uses the microphone for voice recognition (word search). Voice data is processed by the Android system service (Speech-to-Text). The application does not store these recordings on any server.
2. Network access
The application requires Internet access for:
- Sending error reports (Crashlytics).
- Synchronizing with Google Drive.
- Checking for application updates.
3. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell or share your data with other parties except Google LLC to the extent necessary for the operation of the above services. Data processing by Google is governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Your rights and withdrawal of consent
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access and delete your data. You can limit the collection of diagnostic data (Crashlytics) at any time in the application settings or in the Android system settings.
