Information Collected while Using the Application

While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission:

  • Information regarding Your location (used for attendance and school notifications)
  • Information from Your Device’s phone book (contacts list) (used for emergency contacts)
  • Pictures and other information from Your Device’s camera and photo library (used for profile pictures and homework submission)

This information is used only for school management and service improvement, not for any commercial purpose.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service (e.g., attendance tracking, grade inquiry, notice publishing)
  • To manage Your Account
  • To send security updates and school announcements
  • To improve the Application’s functionality and user experience

Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share Your Personal Data in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers (e.g., cloud storage, push notification services)

Children’s Privacy (Important Provisions)

This Application is designed for primary and secondary school scenarios and allows use by children under the age of 14. We strictly comply with the Measures for the Protection of Children’s Personal Information Online and other applicable laws.

1. Age Limitation and Parental/Guardian Consent

  • Our Service is not intended for direct registration by any child under the age of 14 unless the child’s legal guardian has expressly consented, or the school, having obtained parental authorisation, has managed the registration on behalf of the parent.
  • If You are a child under 14, please obtain consent from Your parent or legal guardian before using the Application.
  • If You are a parent or guardian and Your child needs to use the Application (e.g., as required by school), Your use of the Service means that You consent to the collection and use of Your child’s Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. How We Collect Children’s Information

  • We collect only the information that is necessary for school management, provided by the school or the parent, including: student name, class, parent contact phone number, attendance location (only during school hours), homework pictures, etc.
  • We do not proactively ask a child to provide sensitive information such as home address, national ID number, or bank account details.
  • Any use of location, camera, or contacts permissions must be authorised through the device’s permission system. The child or parent can disable such access at any time in the device settings.

3. Storage and Protection of Children’s Information

  • Children’s Personal Data will be stored on servers located within China and will not be transferred across borders.
  • We implement encryption, access control, and other security measures to ensure that children’s data can only be accessed by authorised teachers and administrators.
  • Retention period: Data will be retained while the child’s account is active at school. After graduation or upon a parent’s request for deletion, We will completely delete the data within 30 days (except where retention is required by law).

4. Rights of Parents/Guardians

As the child’s guardian, You have the right to:

  • Access Your child’s Personal Data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of all or part of Your child’s data
  • Withdraw consent (withdrawal may mean the child cannot use certain school‑related functions normally)

5. Shared Responsibility of Schools and Parents

  • This Application is usually recommended or required by the school. The school is responsible for notifying parents of this Privacy Policy within its internal communication channels and for obtaining parental consent.
  • If We become aware that We have collected Personal Information from a child under 14 without verifiable parental consent, We will delete the relevant data immediately.
  • If You are a parent and You discover that Your child has used the Application without Your consent, please contact Us immediately. We will cooperate to resolve the issue.

6. No Intentional Collection of Unnecessary Data

We do not knowingly send marketing communications or targeted advertisements to children. If any unnecessary information is accidentally collected due to technical reasons, We will delete it as soon as discovered.

Other General Terms (Summary)

  • Account Information: Retained for the duration of the account relationship plus up to 24 months after closure.
  • Usage Data (server logs, etc.): Up to 24 months for security monitoring and troubleshooting.
