Shift Calendar privacy policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Change Calendar application (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") collects, uses and shares information when you use this service.

1. Information Collected

A. Personal Data and Sign-In
When using the backup feature, the user logs in with their Google account.

  • Email address: May be processed for the purpose of authentication and identification of your backup storage.
  • Purpose: User account management and access to backup features.

B. Backup to Google Drive
The application allows you to optionally backup your calendar data and settings.

  • Access scope: The application uses limited DRIVE_APPDATA access. This means that it only accesses its own hidden folder in your Google Drive.
  • Privacy: The application does not access any of your other files, documents or photos in Google Drive.

C. Analytics and specific attributes
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to anonymously track the use of the application. We collect:

  • Change types: Anonymized index of the selected change.
  • Company name: The name of the employer that the user sets in the application (used to statistically evaluate the popularity of templates).

D. Diagnostics and stability
We use Firebase Crashlytics. In the event of an application crash, technical data about the device (model, system version) is sent to us, which does not allow direct identification of the person, but helps us to fix the error.

2. Third-party services

The application uses the following Google services, which process data according to their own rules:

  • Google Play Services: Ensures the operation of the application, login and In-App Updates (updates directly in the application).
  • Google Drive API: Ensures the transfer of data backup.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Google Privacy Policy

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Backup data is stored exclusively in your private Google Drive. Analytics data is processed anonymously within the Google Firebase platform.

4. Data Security

All data transfers (between the app and Google Drive or Firebase) are encrypted using SSL/TLS. We recommend that users protect their Google Account with a strong password and two-factor authentication.

5. User Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your data.
  • Request deletion of your data (you can delete your backup from Google Drive at any time in your Google Account settings in the "Application Management" section).
  • Withdraw consent to analytics tracking (if this option is available in the app settings).
