Privacy Policy: Screenshot Cleanup AI
This privacy policy applies to the Screenshot Cleanup AI mobile application (the "Application") created by Pranav Shah (the "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is provided "AS IS."
1. Our Privacy Philosophy
The Application is built with a "Privacy First" architecture. Unlike most modern apps, this Application does not collect, store, or transmit your personal identity, device identifiers, or usage behavior.
2. Information Collection and Use
The Service Provider does not collect any of the following:
No Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or account details.
No Analytics: We do not use third-party tracking tools (such as Firebase, Mixpanel, or Amplitude). We do not record your IP address, time spent in the app, feature usage, or device model.
No Diagnostics: We do not collect crash reports or OS versions.
Data Access and Processing
To provide its core functionality, the Application interacts with your data in the following ways:
Photo Library Access: The Application requires your explicit permission to access the local Photo Library on your device. This is used solely to display your screenshots and allow you to manage (delete) them locally.
AI Analysis (Data in Transit): When you use the categorization feature, the Application sends a compressed thumbnail of the selected screenshot to a third-party AI service (via the @rork-ai/toolkit-sdk). This data is transmitted securely and is used solely to generate category tags.
No Permanent Storage: No images or analysis results are stored on our servers. All categorization data remains local to your device.
3. Third-Party Services
The only third-party interaction occurs during the AI analysis phase. The Service Provider utilizes trusted AI processing partners who:
Receive data only for real-time analysis.
Do not have an independent use for the information.
Do not store your images permanently.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Since no user data is ever collected or stored on a server, there is no data to retain or delete. All app-related data is removed automatically when you uninstall the Application from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
The Application does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
6. Security
We prioritize the security of the data in transit. Images sent for AI analysis are compressed and transmitted via secure, encrypted protocols.
7. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page.
