Permissions Used
Screen Recording (MediaProjection API)
The App uses Android's MediaProjection API to record your device's screen after you explicitly grant permission.
Screen recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Camera Permission
The App requests Camera permission only if you choose to use camera overlay (facecam) while recording.
The camera is accessed only during recording and is not used in the background.
No camera images or videos are transmitted to any server.
Microphone Permission
The App requests Microphone permission only if you enable audio recording.
Audio is recorded locally and is never uploaded to our servers.
Photos and Videos / Storage Permission
The App requests access to your media files to:
- Save recordings
- Save screenshots
- Display recordings
- Share recordings
- Delete recordings
All files remain on your device.
File Sharing
The App uses Android's FileProvider to securely share recordings and screenshots with other applications when you choose to share them.
The App does not upload or transmit your files to the developer.
Data Collection
Screen Recorder Snap – No Ads does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
We do not collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Contacts
- Messages
- Photos
- Videos
- Location
- Device identifiers
- Advertising ID
Third-Party Libraries
The App uses certain open-source and Android libraries to provide functionality, including camera preview support.
These libraries are used solely to provide app features and do not collect personal information on our behalf.
Analytics
The App does not use analytics services such as:
- Firebase Analytics
- Google Analytics
- Mixpanel
Advertising
Screen Recorder Snap – No Ads does not display advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs.
