SCP Reader Privacy Policy / プライバシーポリシー

This privacy policy applies to the SCP Reader app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by inugami seto (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application itself does not require an account and does not ask you to provide personally identifiable information. Your bookmarks, reading history, and app settings are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to the Service Provider.
However, the third-party software development kits (SDKs) included in the Application automatically collect and transmit certain information to Google, including:
- Device identifiers, such as the advertising ID (AAID), app set ID, Firebase app instance ID, and a crash-reporting installation UUID
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address), which may be used to estimate your approximate (city-level) location
- App interaction information, such as screens visited, session duration, and app launch events
- Crash logs and diagnostic information (device model, operating system version, app version)
The Application does not collect precise location information, contacts, photos, or files, and does not use your information for direct marketing by the Service Provider.

The information collected by these SDKs is transmitted to and processed by Google LLC, including on servers located in the United States. The Service Provider may also disclose information as required by law (for example, to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process) or when disclosure is necessary in good faith to protect rights or safety, or to investigate fraud.
Advertising and Consent
The Application displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising ID and IP address to serve and measure ads, and, where you have consented, to personalize ads.
In regions where consent is required by law (such as the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the Application shows a consent form before serving ads. You can change your choice at any time from "Ad privacy settings" in the Application's settings screen (shown only in applicable regions).
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, at any time in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on the device).
Your Rights (United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other GDPR-equivalent regions)
For the purposes of the UK GDPR and similar laws, the data controller for the Application is the Service Provider (inugami seto, contact below). Personal data described above is processed on the following legal bases: your consent (personalized advertising), and legitimate interests (crash reporting, security, and fraud prevention, and non-personalized advertising where permitted).
You have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent at any time (via "Ad privacy settings" in the app or your device's ad settings), and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact the Service Provider at the email address below. Note that most data described in this policy is held by Google rather than by the Service Provider; the Google privacy policies linked above describe how to exercise your rights with Google, including via Google's My Ad Center and https://myaccount.google.com.
Your Rights (United States)
Depending on your state of residence (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended), you may have rights to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. The Service Provider does not sell personal information for money. The transmission of advertising identifiers to advertising networks for personalized ads may be considered "sharing" under some state laws. You can opt out by disabling ad personalization or resetting/deleting your advertising ID in your device settings, or via the in-app ad privacy options where available. The Service Provider does not knowingly process sensitive personal information.
Your Rights (Brazil)
If you are in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization or deletion, and information about sharing. Contact the Service Provider at the email address below to exercise these rights.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your device or via the mobile application marketplace.
Data Retention Policy
Data stored on your device (bookmarks, reading history, settings) remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the Application. Data collected by Google SDKs is retained according to Google's retention policies linked above. If you would like the Service Provider's assistance regarding deletion, please contact syiroku@yahoo.co.jp and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider (syiroku@yahoo.co.jp) so that the necessary actions can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Information transmitted by the SDKs described above is encrypted in transit (TLS).
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-08-04.

SCP Reader プライバシーポリシー（日本語版）
本プライバシーポリシーは、inugami seto（以下「サービス提供者」）が広告収益型の無料サービスとして提供するモバイルアプリ「SCP Reader」（以下「本アプリ」）に適用されます。
収集する情報と利用目的
本アプリの利用にアカウント登録は不要で、サービス提供者がお客様の個人情報の入力を求めることはありません。ブックマーク・閲覧履歴・設定は端末内にのみ保存され、サービス提供者に送信されることはありません。
一方、本アプリに組み込まれた第三者のSDKは、以下の情報を自動的に収集しGoogleに送信します。
- デバイス識別子（広告ID（AAID）、アプリセットID、FirebaseアプリインスタンスID、クラッシュレポート用のインストールUUID）
- IPアドレス（おおよその地域（市区レベル）の推定に使われることがあります）
- アプリの利用状況（表示した画面、利用時間、起動イベント等）
- クラッシュログおよび診断情報（端末機種、OSバージョン、アプリバージョン）
本アプリが、正確な位置情報・連絡先・写真・ファイルを収集することはありません。
外部送信について（電気通信事業法・外部送信規律に基づく公表事項）
本アプリは、以下の第三者サービスに情報を送信しています。
1. Google AdMob（Google LLC）
送信される情報: 広告ID、IPアドレス、端末情報、広告の表示・操作に関する情報
利用目的: 広告の配信・表示回数の計測・不正防止（同意をいただいた地域ではパーソナライズ広告の配信）

送信される情報: アプリインスタンスID、アプリの利用状況、端末情報
利用目的: アプリの利用状況の分析・改善

送信される情報: クラッシュログ、インストールUUID、端末情報
利用目的: 不具合の検知・修正

これらの情報は、米国内のサーバーを含むGoogle LLCの設備で処理されます。また、法令に基づく場合（令状への対応等）、または権利・安全の保護や不正調査のために誠実に必要と判断される場合に、情報を開示することがあります。
広告と同意について
本アプリはGoogle AdMobによるバナー広告を表示します。法令により同意が必要な地域（英国・スイス等）では、広告の表示前に同意フォームを表示します。同意内容は、本アプリの設定画面にある「広告のプライバシー設定」（該当地域のユーザーにのみ表示）からいつでも変更できます。
また、端末の設定（設定 > Google > 広告 等）から、広告IDのリセット・削除や、パーソナライズ広告のオプトアウトをいつでも行えます。
お客様の権利
英国・スイス等のGDPR相当法域のお客様は、個人データへのアクセス・訂正・消去・処理の制限・異議申立て・同意の撤回、および監督機関への申立てを行う権利があります。米国の一部州にお住まいのお客様は、州法に基づき情報の開示・削除・「共有」のオプトアウトを求める権利があります（サービス提供者が個人情報を金銭と引き換えに販売することはありません）。ブラジルのお客様はLGPDに基づく権利を有します。権利行使をご希望の場合は下記の連絡先までご連絡ください。なお、本ポリシーに記載のデータの大部分はサービス提供者ではなくGoogleが保有しており、Googleに対する権利行使の方法は上記リンク先をご参照ください。
データの保持と削除
端末内のデータ（ブックマーク・閲覧履歴・設定）は、アプリ内での削除操作またはアプリのアンインストールにより削除されます。Google SDKが収集したデータの保持期間はGoogleのポリシーに従います。アンインストールにより、本アプリによる情報収集はすべて停止します。
お子様について
本アプリは13歳未満のお子様を対象としておらず、13歳未満のお子様の個人情報を意図的に収集することはありません。
セキュリティ
上記SDKによる送信は、すべて暗号化された通信（TLS）で行われます。
変更について
本ポリシーは必要に応じて更新されることがあります。変更はこのページの更新をもってお知らせします。
本ポリシーは2026年8月4日から有効です。
