ScanFlow Privacy Policy

ScanFlow (“the App”) is provided by [Ricardo Joaquim Lucenna] (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

  • Camera & Photos: Accessed solely to capture and process documents. Images are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous analytics events (e.g., screen views, feature usage) help us improve stability, performance, and user experience.
  • Advertising Data: Google Mobile Ads may collect device identifiers and coarse location to deliver relevant ads, in accordance with Google’s policies.

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information on our servers.

2. How We Use Information

  • Generate, edit, and export scanned documents requested by you.
  • Improve app performance and add new features based on aggregated analytics.
  • Display advertising to keep the core experience free (banners, interstitials, and rewarded ads).

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your information. Anonymous usage data may be shared with analytics/advertising partners (e.g., Google Mobile Ads, Firebase) to serve ads and track app performance.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Scans remain on your device unless you choose to export/share them.
  • We rely on the security of your device and third‑party SDKs (Google Mobile Ads, Firebase) for data handling.
  • Removing the app deletes all locally stored scans and preferences.

5. Children’s Privacy

ScanFlow is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that data from a child under 13 has been collected inadvertently, we will take steps to delete it.

6. Third‑Party Services

ScanFlow integrates the following services, which have their own privacy policies:

  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
  • Google Firebase / Google Analytics (if enabled)
    Please review their policies for details on data handling.

7. Your Choices

  • Revoke camera or storage permissions in your device settings.
  • Clear exported files from your file manager at any time.
  • Opt out of personalized ads via your Google account or device advertising settings.
