This privacy policy applies to the ScamShieldLite application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, which was created by Sodeinde Olajumoke Adebola (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address).
- A secure, unique Device Fingerprint identifier stored locally on your device's keychain. This identifier is collected solely for anti-abuse, security audit tracking, and enforcing our 3-free lifetime guest scan threshold limits.
- The specific texts, messages, or string inputs that you explicitly submit to the Application for scam analysis.
- General application analytics (the pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages).
- The operating system running on your mobile device.
The Application does not gather precise information about the physical location of your mobile device.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Processing
The Application utilizes secure, advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies (including OpenAI, Groq, and Gemini API services) to evaluate text inputs for potential phishing, fraud, and scam risks.
When you submit a text for scanning, it is securely transmitted to these external AI processors to perform the real-time evaluation. This data is handled in strict accordance with this privacy policy and applicable privacy laws. The raw text messages analyzed are processed ephemerally and are not permanently used by our third-party AI models to train public baseline machine learning systems.
Marketing and Communication
The Service Provider may use the email address or contact information you provide from time to time to communicate important security notices, required account notifications, and marketing promotions.
Third-Party Access and Services
Only aggregated, anonymized, or specific action-log data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and securing its backend architecture.

Data Disclosure
The Service Provider may disclose User-Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

- With trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
You can easily stop all information collection by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
Data Retention and Deletion Policy
The Service Provider will retain user action logs (such as automated scan counts tied to device fingerprints) for as long as necessary to enforce usage limits and protect the application infrastructure against fraud. If you would like to request the immediate deletion of any user data or account information you have provided, please contact the Service Provider at scamshieldlite@gmail.com, and we will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's Privacy
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has accidentally provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted from our cloud servers. If you are a parent or guardian and realize your child has submitted data, please contact us at scamshieldlite@gmail.com so we can take immediate corrective actions.
Security
The Service Provider is highly concerned with safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We maintain strict physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to secure all data processed and maintained by the backend services.
