Route Optim Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Route Optim app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by BitsAccurate (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application stores information locally on your device when you use it. This information may include:

Trip names and delivery stop details you create
Customer names, order numbers, and WhatsApp contact numbers you enter
Google Maps links or location searches you provide for delivery stops
Your language preference setting

The Application does not collect your device's IP address, browsing history, advertising IDs, or device identifiers.

The Application does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies.

The Application does not use any form of user accounts or authentication.

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

How Your Data Is Stored

All trip data, delivery information, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This means:

Your data never leaves your device to our servers
We have no access to your stored information
If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted
If you clear the app's data from your device settings, all stored information is removed

Third Party Access

The Application uses the following third-party services to provide its core functionality:

Google Maps Platform:

Places Autocomplete API — to suggest locations as you type
Distance Matrix API — to calculate distances and travel times between stops
Geocoding API — to convert addresses to coordinates
Find Place API — to resolve location details

When you search for a location or optimize a route, your search queries and coordinates are sent directly from your device to Google's servers. This data transmission is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

External App Integrations:

Google Maps App — When you tap "Navigate" or "Open in Maps", the app opens Google Maps with delivery coordinates. No additional data is shared.
WhatsApp — When you tap the WhatsApp button, the app opens WhatsApp with the phone number you entered. No additional data is shared beyond what you provided.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. No aggregated or anonymized data is transmitted to external services.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Route Sharing

When you use the "Share Route" feature, a text summary of your route is generated on your device. You choose how and with whom to share it using your device's native sharing capabilities. We have no visibility into or control over shared content once it leaves the app.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

All data is retained only on your device for as long as the app is installed. The Service Provider does not retain any data on external servers. You can delete individual trips from within the app at any time, or uninstall the app to remove all data permanently.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. Since all data is stored locally on-device and we do not collect personal information on any server, no child data is at risk.

Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, security is managed through your device's built-in protections (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device updated with the latest security patches and using a strong screen lock.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data at all times:

Access — All your data is visible within the app
Delete — Delete individual trips from the dashboard, or uninstall the app to remove all data
Modify — Edit any trip or delivery information at any time
Portability — Share route summaries using the built-in share feature

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
