RemindUs app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We also collect health-related data such as medication names, dosages, vaccination records, and health metrics when you choose to use those features.

Location Data
RemindUs offers a location tracking feature that collects real-time GPS location data when enabled by the user. This data is used to share your location with authorised family members within the app. Location data is stored securely on Firebase servers and is only accessible to family members you have explicitly authorised.
Health Data
The app may access health data from your device (such as step count and heart rate) if you choose to connect a wearable device. This data is used solely within the app to display your health metrics and is not shared with any third party.
Voice and Speech Data
When using the voice reminder feature, the app uses speech-to-text technology to convert your voice input into text. This text is then processed by OpenAI to extract reminder details. Voice recordings are not stored permanently; they are processed in real time and discarded after conversion.
Camera and Photos
The app uses your device camera for scanning prescriptions and tracking food intake. Images captured for prescription scanning are processed by AI to extract medication details. These images may be temporarily uploaded for processing but are not stored permanently on our servers unless you explicitly save them.
Log Data
In the event of an error while using the app, we may collect data and information on your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies
This Service does not use cookies explicitly. However, third-party tools or libraries integrated into the app may use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device.
Data Storage and Security
Your personal data, including reminders, medication records, vaccination records, and family information, is stored securely on Firebase Cloud services with encryption. We use industry-standard security measures including Firebase App Check, encrypted storage, and biometric authentication to protect your information. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Family Sharing and Data Access
RemindUs allows you to share health and reminder data with family members you authorise. When you add a family member or guardian, they may have access to view and manage reminders, medication schedules, and health records based on the permissions you grant. You can revoke access at any time.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. Your information is only shared with:
- Family members or guardians you explicitly authorise within the app
- Third-party service providers (listed above) solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service
- Emergency contacts you designate, when you trigger the SOS feature
Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
