This privacy policy applies to the QuestFocus AI mobile application (hereby referred to as "Application") created by Emirhan Salihoğlu (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided as a Free application with optional premium features (In-App Purchases) and is intended for use "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
- Usage statistics (pages visited, time spent, date of visit).
- Device operating system and model information.
- Images and Study Materials: The Application requires access to your camera or photo library to process study materials. These images are transmitted to AI processors to generate summaries and flashcards.
2. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Processing (CRITICAL)
The Application utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies (specifically Google Generative AI / Gemini) to provide its core features.
- By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your uploaded study materials by these AI services.
- Data sent for AI processing is used solely to generate educational content (summaries, flashcards) and is handled according to the privacy standards of the third-party AI providers.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The Application offers premium features via In-App Purchases (IAP).
- All payment transactions are processed securely through Apple’s App Store infrastructure.
- We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and verify purchases.
- The Service Provider does not store or have access to your credit card or billing information. All sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by Apple.
4. Third-Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services (such as RevenueCat for subscriptions and Google AI for processing) to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application.
The Service Provider may disclose information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or legal process.
- To protect the safety of users, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests.
- With trusted service providers who work on our behalf and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this statement.
5. Location Information
The Application does not gather precise information about the real-time location of your mobile device.
6. Children's Privacy (Age Rating 4+)
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. We encourage parents to monitor their children's usage. If we discover that a child under 13 (or the legal age in your country) has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
