Privacy Policy for Pulpy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Pulpy mobile game ("Pulpy", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use it. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Summary
Pulpy is a casual puzzle game. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other personal contact information. Your game progress is stored only on your device. The App displays ads through Google AdMob, and Google and its advertising partners may collect certain device and usage information to provide those ads, as described below.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The following game data is saved locally on your device using Android's standard local storage and is not sent to us or to any server we control:
- Level progress and highest level reached
- In-game coin balance
- Unlocked and selected background themes
- Best clear times per level
- Sound, music, and vibration settings
This data stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data in your device settings.
3. Information Collected by Advertising (Google AdMob)
Pulpy uses Google AdMob to show banner, interstitial, rewarded, and native ads. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
- IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
- Device information such as model, operating system version, and language
- Ad interaction data, including ads shown, clicks, and related diagnostics
This information is collected and used by Google in accordance with its own policies. We do not control how Google uses this data. For more information, please see:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4. Personalized Ads and Consent
Depending on your settings and region, ads may be personalized (based on the advertising data described above) or non-personalized.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent before personalized ads are served, where required by applicable law such as the GDPR. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the App's settings, where available.
5. Permissions We Use
Pulpy requests only the permissions needed to function:
- Internet / Network access — to load and display ads.
- Vibrate — to provide haptic feedback during gameplay.
- Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) — to allow Google ad services to access your device's advertising identifier for ad delivery and measurement.
We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location.
6. Your Choices and Controls
- Opt out of personalized ads or reset your advertising ID: On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads, where you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.
- Delete local game data: Uninstall the App, or go to Settings > Apps > Pulpy > Storage > Clear data.
- Manage consent (EEA/UK): Where a consent prompt is provided, you can review or change your choices at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
Pulpy is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address it.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties except for the advertising and platform service providers described in this policy (Google AdMob and Google Play services), which process data according to their own privacy policies, and except where required by law.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. Because your game data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate servers that store your personal data, the primary protection for that data is the security of your own device.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, most requests relating to advertising data should be directed to Google. You may also exercise the on-device controls described in Section 6. To make a request to us, use the contact details below.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
