DATA WE COLLECT
Peekwords does not collect any personally identifiable information. The only data stored locally on your device (via Chrome's storage API) is:
- Your selected target country preference
- Keywords you manually choose to save
This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server.
DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
- We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information
- We do not track your browsing history
- We do not log your search queries
- We do not use cookies or tracking pixels
- We do not collect location data
- We do not share any data with third parties
HOW THE EXTENSION WORKS
Peekwords reads the search query from the current Google Search page URL and uses it to:
1. Fetch keyword suggestions from Google's public Autocomplete endpoint (suggestqueries.google.com)
2. Read publicly visible content already displayed on the Google Search results page (Related Searches, People Also Ask)
3. Generate a link to Google Trends for the current keyword
None of this involves transmitting personal data. The search query used is the same query already visible in your browser's address bar.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES
Peekwords does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
