Introduction Blue Byte Developers is an independent app developer based in India. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Gate Prep mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.

Information Collection and Use We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Personal Data: While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, specifically your Email Address. This is collected via Firebase Authentication to create your account, secure your login, and save your learning progress.
User-Generated Content: If you use the "Live Discussion" or "Chat" features, we collect the messages and content you voluntarily send.
Usage Data & Device Information: When you access the Service with a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID (such as Advertising ID (used for ads) and diagnostic data.), the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, and other diagnostic data.
Use of Data Blue Byte Developers uses the collected data for various purposes:
To provide and maintain the Service (e.g., saving your quiz progress).
To notify you about changes to our Service.
To allow you to participate in interactive features (Chat) when you choose to do so.
To provide customer support.
To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service.
To monitor the usage of the Service.
To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
To serve advertisements to support the free version of the app.
Third-Party Service Providers We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We use the following third-party services:
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers (like the Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
Google Firebase: We use Firebase for Authentication (Login) and Firestore (Database).

User-Generated Content (UGC) & Moderation Our Service includes a community chat feature. To ensure a safe environment for all users, we strictly enforce the following:
Zero Tolerance Policy: We have zero tolerance for objectionable content, including but not limited to hate speech, bullying, harassment, nudity, violence, or spam.
Moderation: We provide tools for users to Block abusive users and Report objectionable content directly within the app.
Action: Reported content is reviewed as soon as reasonably possible, and appropriate action is taken. Users found violating these terms will be suspended or permanently banned from the Service.
Agreement: By accessing the chat feature, you agree to adhere to our Community Guidelines.
Account Deletion You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.
In-App Deletion: You can delete your account immediately inside the app by navigating to Profile > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and wipes your progress and account details. Messages you previously posted in the community chat may be retained for context but will no longer be associated with your personal identity.
Chat messages are stored to enable real-time communication and moderation, and may be retained unless deleted by the user or required for safety or legal reasons.

Children's Privacy Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
