*   **Business Records**: Data you enter (such as customer names, khata debts/payments, pricing, inventory, etc.) is processed solely for managing your shop.

**3. Offline-First Design & Local Storage**
**Dukaan AI prioritizes your privacy through an offline-first architecture:**
*   All critical business data (Khata entries, inventory, daily sales, etc.) is stored **locally on your device** inside a secure Room database.
*   We **do not** sync, upload, or store your daily transaction or customer lists on our central servers.

**4. AI Data Processing (Gemini API & ML Kit)**
To enable smart assistant features:
*   Audio fragments and scanned bill images may be securely transmitted over HTTPS to AI services (like **Google Gemini API**) for instant text extraction.
*   This data is processed temporarily to generate your bill output and is NOT stored permanently by us for tracking or marketing purposes.

The App will request the following permissions during use:
*   **Microphone**: For speech-to-text billing functionality.
*   **Camera**: For invoice and product scanning.

All WhatsApp sharing features (Sharing bills, Khata reminders, orders) are initiated manually by you. No automated third-party communication occurs without your trigger.
