This privacy policy applies to the Poetly app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Technology & Tea (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a subscription-based service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application itself does not require you to create an account or submit personal information. When you subscribe, payment and subscription management is handled entirely by Google Play and RevenueCat — the Service Provider does not directly collect or store your payment details. When you use the Application, limited technical information may be collected automatically, including:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
- General usage patterns within the Application
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Third Party Access
The Service Provider uses the following third-party services which may process data in the course of providing the Application's features:
- RevenueCat — manages subscription status and purchase verification. Subject to RevenueCat's own privacy policy.
- OpenAI — processes the poem text you produce in order to suggest formats and shape your poem. Text is processed ephemerally and is not used to train models under the API terms.
- fal.ai — receives style prompts to generate background images. Prompts are processed ephemerally.
The Service Provider may also disclose information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, or when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain automatically collected data for as long as required to operate the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you would like the Service Provider to delete any data associated with your use of the Application, please contact them using the details in the Contact Us section below.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to monitor their children's use of the Application. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information through the Application, please contact the Service Provider using the details in the Contact Us section so that appropriate action can be taken. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries your parent or guardian may do so on your behalf).
Security
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
