This Privacy Policy describes how Pixelit ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
1. Information Collection and Use
1.1. Personal Data
When you use Pixelit, we may collect certain personally identifiable information, specifically if you choose to synchronize your data using Google Sign-In:
- Email address (for authentication and account management).
- User ID (generated by Firebase Authentication).
1.2. Usage Data and Objectives
The core functionality of Pixelit involves tracking your daily objectives using a pixel grid. This data involves:
- Objective names and details.
- Daily completion status (colors/values).
- Mood data (if the moodboard feature is enabled).
Local vs Cloud:
- By default, this data is stored locally on your device.
- If you enable Cloud Synchronization (Pro feature), this data is encrypted and stored securely on Google Firebase Cloud Firestore servers to allow synchronization across your devices.
2. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. The usage is strictly limited to the functionality of the App.
- Google Firebase (Auth & Firestore): Used for authentication and cloud data synchronization.
- RevenueCat: Used to manage In-App Subscriptions (Pixelit Pro). RevenueCat processes purchase tokens to validate your subscription status.
- Google Play Services: Used for core Android functionality.
3. Permissions
The App requires specific permissions to function correctly:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To send you daily reminders to log your pixels.
- Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): To ensure reminders are delivered at the precise time you configured.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active.
- Deletion (In-App): You can request the deletion of your account and all associated cloud data directly within the application settings ("Delete Account" option).
- Deletion (Web Request): If you cannot access the application, you may request the deletion of your account by sending an email to [VOTRE_EMAIL_ICI] with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and permanently delete your data within 30 days.
- Outcome: Upon deletion, all your data on Firebase (authentication record and database entries) is permanently removed. Local data can be removed by uninstalling the application.
5. Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. All cloud communication is encrypted over HTTPS. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
