The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:
Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address) The operating system you use on your mobile device The type and model of your mobile device Anonymous usage data (which screens you visit, time spent, features used) The time and date of your visits to the Application Crash and error data (anonymized)
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to: Email address, First name, Date of birth, Body measurements (height, weight), Heart rate data (resting and maximum, optional), Fitness performance data (VMA, recent race times, training plan, validated sessions, perceived exertion ratings), Injury history (if declared), and Profile photo (optional). The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
Google Play Services Google Analytics for Firebase Firebase Authentication Firebase Cloud Firestore Firebase Cloud Messaging Firebase Crashlytics Firebase Cloud Functions Google Play Billing (subscription management) Brevo (transactional email delivery for account verification) Health Connect by Android (on-device health and fitness data platform)
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Health Connect Data
The Application can optionally connect to Health Connect, the on-device health and fitness data platform built into Android. This connection is entirely optional and is only activated if you explicitly choose to enable it.
Data read from Health Connect: Running exercise sessions from the last 7 days, including: session duration, distance covered, and elevation gain (D+).
Purpose: This data is used solely to automatically fill in your training session details (duration, distance, elevation) when you complete a workout in the Application, replacing manual entry. The accurate duration is used to calculate your training load (Foster method: RPE × duration) and your injury risk index (Acute-to-Chronic Workload Ratio), which helps prevent overtraining.
Data written to Health Connect: When you complete a training session manually (without importing from Health Connect), the Application may write the session to Health Connect so that it appears in your overall health history across all your connected health apps. Only manually-entered sessions are written — sessions imported from Health Connect are never duplicated.
Storage: Only the duration (in minutes), distance (in km), and elevation gain (in meters) of the session you select are stored as part of your training plan, in the same way as manually-entered data. No raw Health Connect data is stored separately.
Sharing: Data obtained from Health Connect is never shared with third parties. It is synchronized with your Physio Pacing account (Firebase Firestore) solely to ensure continuity across your devices.
User control: You can revoke the Application's access to Health Connect at any time from your device's Health Connect settings (Settings → Apps → Health Connect → App permissions → Physio Pacing).
