Privacy Policy for Petipedia
This privacy policy applies to the Petipedia – AI Pet Analysis & Sketches app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Tolga Sayan (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a commercial service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include, but is not limited to:
Photos that you upload (from camera or gallery) for pet analysis and AI sketch generation.
Information about your device, such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, and app usage data (e.g., screens visited, buttons tapped).
Purchase history of in-app subscriptions, in order to enable premium features.
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your device.
How Data Is Used
App Functionality: Uploaded photos are used exclusively to perform pet breed analysis and AI-generated sketches.
Analytics & Improvements: Aggregated and anonymized app usage data may be used to understand user behavior and improve features.
Subscriptions: Purchase data is used to manage premium access.
Third-Party Services
The Application relies on third-party AI services to deliver its core functionality:
Google Gemini API: Used to analyze pet photos and generate descriptive insights.
Replicate (Flux Model): Used to create AI-generated sketches of pets.
Uploaded content is transmitted securely to these services for processing. These providers may retain and process the data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Third-Party Access and Disclosure
The Service Provider may share information with third parties only in the ways described in this Privacy Policy:
To comply with legal obligations (e.g., subpoena, court order).
To protect the rights, safety, and property of users and others.
With trusted service providers working on behalf of the Service Provider, bound by confidentiality.
The Application does not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application at any time by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall process available on your device or via the app marketplace.
Data Retention Policy
User-provided data (e.g., uploaded photos) are retained only as long as needed for analysis/sketch generation and are not permanently stored by the Service Provider.
Subscription and usage data may be retained for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable time thereafter.
If you wish to request deletion of user data, please contact the Service Provider at tolgasayan@icloud.com.
Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect or solicit data from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not use this Application or submit any personal data. If you believe that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider immediately at tolgasayan@icloud.com so that it can be removed.
Security
The Service Provider takes appropriate measures to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of your information, including physical, electronic, and procedural protections.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any changes.
