- Not permanently retained by us on any external server
**Wardrobe Items**
When you add clothing items to your wardrobe, the App stores:
- Photos of your clothing items (stored locally on your device)
- AI-generated descriptions of each item (stored locally on your device)
- Category labels you assign to items (stored locally on your device)
### 2.2 Information Collected Automatically

The App automatically collects and stores the following data locally on your device:
- Your outfit rating history, including AI feedback and scores
- The number of free outfit ratings and wardrobe outfit generations remaining
- Your language preference
**Subscription and Purchase Information**
If you choose to subscribe to a premium plan, purchase and subscription data (including subscription status, plan type, trial status, and renewal information) is managed by **RevenueCat**, a third-party subscription management platform. We do not directly access, store, or process your payment card details. All financial transactions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat.
### 2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do **not** collect:
- Your name, email address, or other contact information (unless you contact us directly)
- Your age, gender, or demographic information
- Your physical location or GPS data
- Biometric data
- Health or fitness data
- Contacts, calendar, or device identifiers beyond what is required for subscription management
- Behavioral analytics or usage tracking beyond what RevenueCat captures for subscription metrics

## 4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services that may receive certain data as part of their operation:
### 4.1 OpenAI (Artificial Intelligence)
**What is shared:** When you rate an outfit or request an AI outfit suggestion, outfit photos (encoded as base64 images) and wardrobe item descriptions are transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing.
**Purpose:** OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model analyzes the photos and generates style ratings, feedback, and outfit suggestions.
**Data Retention:** OpenAI may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring purposes, unless you have opted out. We do not permanently store your images on OpenAI servers and do not use your images to train OpenAI models.

### 4.2 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
**What is shared:** A randomized device identifier and subscription transaction data are shared with RevenueCat to manage your subscription status, trial periods, and entitlements.
**Purpose:** RevenueCat enables us to manage in-app purchases, handle subscription renewals, and allow purchase restoration across devices.
**Data Retained:** RevenueCat may store subscription-related events and anonymized usage metrics.

## 5. Data Storage and Security
### 5.1 Local Storage
The majority of your data — including outfit ratings history, wardrobe photos, wardrobe item descriptions, and app preferences — is stored **locally on your device** in:
- A private SQLite database (`outfitRaterAI.db`) accessible only by this App
- The App's private Documents directory for image files
- AsyncStorage for lightweight preferences such as language selection
This data is protected by your device's operating system and is not accessible to other apps.
### 5.2 Data Transmission Security
All data transmitted to third-party services (OpenAI and RevenueCat) is transmitted over **HTTPS (TLS encryption)**. We do not use unencrypted connections for any data transmission.
### 5.3 Data Retention
- **Local data:** Retained on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.
- **OpenAI-processed images:** Subject to OpenAI's data retention policy (up to 30 days for API inputs).
- **RevenueCat subscription data:** Retained by RevenueCat as described in their privacy policy.
### 5.4 Security Measures
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information collected and stored by the App. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## 7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers a freemium model with the following plans:

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. Subscriptions **automatically renew** unless canceled at least **24 hours** before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through **Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions** on your device at any time.
We do not receive your payment card details. Any billing disputes should be directed to Apple.
