Our Colony (“Application”) is provided by Golden Desert (“we”, “us”, “our”) as an ad-supported service. This Privacy Policy describes what data is processed and how it is used.
1. Information We Process
A. Account Data (only if you connect)
Google Play Games Player ID (UID) and, if provided by the platform, display name.
Used to identify your account and to enable cloud save/restore.
B. Game Data
Save data such as progress, inventory/currency, and in-app settings required for gameplay and support.
C. Device & Usage Data (via third-party SDKs)
Device model, OS version, app version, IP address (for approximate location and fraud prevention), crash logs, ad events (e.g., ad shown/reward granted), and diagnostic information.
Collected by our service providers for ads delivery/measurement, analytics, diagnostics, and service reliability.
Location: We do not collect precise (GPS) location. Third-party SDKs may derive coarse location from the IP address for fraud prevention and non-precise ad targeting.
We do not sell personal data.
2. How We Use the Data
Enable sign-in and cloud saves (when you choose to connect).
Serve ads (including rewarded ads) and measure their performance.
Perform analytics, diagnostics, and crash reporting to improve the app.
Provide support and prevent fraud/abuse.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
The Application uses third-party services that process data under their own privacy policies:
Google Play Services / Google Play Games — sign-in, achievements, cloud, platform services.

4. Sharing of Information
We share information only:
with the service providers listed above to operate the Application;
to comply with legal obligations or enforce legal rights;
to protect users and prevent fraud or abuse.
5. Your Choices
Disconnect sign-in: You may sign out of Google Play Games via the platform settings.
Ads preferences: You may limit personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Delete data: Request deletion of cloud/account data by emailing goldendesert.studio@gmail.com.
Uninstall: You can stop all in-app data processing by uninstalling the Application.
6. Data Retention
Account and cloud-save data are retained while your account remains connected and deleted upon request.
Analytics, ads, and diagnostic data are retained according to the third-party providers’ own retention policies.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
