This privacy policy applies to the OBD2 Codes mobile application (hereafter referred to as the "Application") created by GoodWin-23 (hereafter referred to as the "Service Provider") as a free service. The Application is provided "AS IS".
1. No Data Collection by the Service Provider
The Service Provider does not collect, store, process, or share any personal or device‑related information from users of the Application.
Specifically, the Service Provider does not collect:
IP addresses
Pages or screens visited inside the Application
Time and date of use or time spent on screens
Operating system version or device model
Precise or approximate location data
The Service Provider does not require you to provide any personally identifiable information (such as name, email address, phone number) to use the Application.
The Service Provider does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process any data.
2. Third‑Party Services (Google Play & AdMob)
The Application integrates third‑party services provided by Google Inc. (Google Play Services and AdMob) solely for the purpose of distributing the Application through Google Play and displaying advertisements.
These third‑party services may collect certain data automatically (e.g., advertising ID, device identifiers, approximate location, interaction with ads) as described in their own privacy policies.
The Service Provider has no access to, control over, or responsibility for the data collected by Google Play Services or AdMob. All such data processing is governed exclusively by Google's privacy policy.

3. No Marketing Communications
Because the Service Provider does not collect your contact information (email, phone number, etc.), you will never receive any marketing promotions, required notices, or other communications from the Service Provider through the Application.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
The Service Provider maintains no servers or databases containing user data. Any data that may be cached locally on your device (e.g., OBD2 diagnostic codes) is stored solely on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the Application.
If you believe that the Service Provider might inadvertently hold any of your data (which is not intended), you may contact pasonicipasonici@gmail.com, and the Service Provider will respond within a reasonable time.
5. Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The Application is not directed at children.
Since the Service Provider does not collect data at all, there is no risk of knowingly soliciting or storing personal information from children. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided personal information through the Application (which is not technically possible), please contact the Service Provider at pasonicipasonici@gmail.com so that appropriate steps can be taken – however, note that the Service Provider has no servers from which to delete such data.
6. Opt‑Out Rights (Uninstalling the Application)
You can stop all third‑party data collection (by Google Play Services and AdMob) by simply uninstalling the Application using the standard uninstall process available on your mobile device or via the Google Play Store.
7. Security
The Service Provider does not process or store your data, therefore no security measures on the Service Provider's side are applicable. However, the third‑party services (Google) implement physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the data they handle – please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified policy.
9. Your Consent
By using the Application, you consent to this Privacy Policy and acknowledge that:
The Service Provider collects no user data.
Google Play Services and AdMob may collect data as described in Google's privacy policy.
All claims or questions regarding data processing must be directed to Google, not to the Service Provider.
