This privacy policy applies to the Newmarket Scavenger Hunt App (hereafter referred to as "Application"), developed by Numberfit (hereafter referred to as "Service Provider"), and is intended for use as a Free application by children aged 3–12, with parental guidance and consent. The Service is provided “AS IS.”

The Application is designed for children aged 3–12, and collects limited personal information under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

We collect the following types of information:

  • Parent or guardian’s email address
  • Player (child’s) name or nickname
  • Player age
  • Device Internet Protocol (IP) address

  • Pages visited and time spent in the app
  • Location data (approximate only)
  • Camera access (to scan QR codes)

This information is collected to support key functionality of the app (e.g., QR scanning, location-based navigation), improve the user experience, and for safety, analytics, and support purposes.

Use of Location and Camera

Location: Used to guide users to different hunt locations throughout the town. The app uses approximate device location to enhance the scavenger hunt experience.

Camera: Required to scan QR codes placed around the town as part of the interactive scavenger hunt.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services that may collect data for app functionality, crash reporting, and analytics:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Expo

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
