Neuro Speak is developed by Praveen Perera as a paid application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data. By using Neuro Speak, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Information We Collect
Neuro Speak does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The app does not require you to create an account, and no personal details such as your name, email address, or any other identifying information are ever requested or gathered.
2. How Your Data Is Stored
All data generated while using Neuro Speak including app settings, session data, and any other usage information is stored locally on your device only. This data is temporary in nature and is automatically removed when you uninstall the app. No data is ever synced to, or backed up on, external servers.
3. Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device, it exists only for the duration of your use of the app. Upon uninstallation of Neuro Speak, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device. We do not retain any copies of your data.
4. Payment Information
Purchases of Neuro Speak are processed through the Google Play Store. All payment transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address at any time.
5. Third-Party Services
Neuro Speak uses the Groq API to power the in app AI chatbot assistant. When you use the chatbot feature, your chat messages are sent to Groq's servers solely to generate a response. Groq is a third party AI inference service. Please refer to Groq's Privacy Policy at groq.com/privacy-policy for details on how they handle data.
Chat history is not stored permanently it exists only in memory during your session and is cleared when you close or restart the app. No chat data is saved to your device or to our servers.
Aside from the chatbot feature, Neuro Speak does not integrate any analytics, advertising networks, or other tracking services. All other app data including progress, settings, and lesson results is stored only on your device and is never transmitted externally.
6. Log Data
We do not automatically collect or store technical log data from your device. If you contact us for support, you may voluntarily share screenshots or details, which will be used solely to address your inquiry and will not be retained thereafter.
7. Cookies
Neuro Speak does not use cookies or any similar tracking technologies.
8. Children's Privacy
Neuro Speak does not collect any personal information from any users, including children. As no data is collected or stored by us, there is no risk of personal information from children being retained. If a child contacts us by email and provides personal information, it will be used only to respond to their inquiry and will be deleted immediately afterwards.
9. Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted externally, your information remains within your control at all times. We encourage you to use your device's built-in security features to protect your data.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable laws. Any updates will be reflected in this document. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
