This Privacy Policy explains how Money Maker handles your information. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. By using Money Maker, you agree to the practices described below.
Privacy-first Money Maker is built so that your financial information stays under your control.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data you enter
Money Maker lets you record financial information such as expenses, income, budgets, categories, and savings goals. This data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, sell, or share your financial records with us or any third party.
1.2 Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your name, phone number, or contacts.
- We do not collect your precise or approximate location.
- We do not access your photos, camera, or files (beyond what you explicitly choose).
- We do not sell your personal or financial data to anyone.
2. Device Permissions
Money Maker requests the following Android permissions:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) - to send you reminders, such as to log expenses or stay on top of your budget. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
- Run after restart (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) - to re-schedule your reminders after your device restarts, so you don't miss them.
3. How We Use Information
Information you enter is used solely to provide the app's features - tracking your spending, calculating budgets, generating charts and insights, and sending the reminders you set. We do not use your financial data for advertising or profiling.
4. Advertising
Money Maker may use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data, including your device's advertising identifier, to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. Where required by law, we request your consent before showing personalized ads, and you may change your choice at any time. We do not share your financial records with advertisers. 5. Purchases & Subscriptions
Keep this section only if you offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. Otherwise delete it.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details; all payment information is handled directly by Google.
6. Analytics & Diagnostics
We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Data you enter is stored on your device. Any data transmitted over a network is protected using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can remove individual records or clear all data from within the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes the locally stored data. To request deletion of any data we may hold, contact us at the email below.
9. Age & Younger Users
Money Maker is intended for users 16 years and older. We believe good money habits start early, and teens aged 16 and above can use the app to track their spending, set budgets, and build healthy saving habits. The app is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 18, please use the app with the awareness and guidance of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
