📊 What Metricly Does

Metricly accesses system and browser metrics solely to display:

RAM usage of the current browser tab

Overall system memory consumption

Real-time network ping for the active domain

These metrics are used only for on-screen display and are not sent anywhere.

🛠️ Permissions Explained

Metricly uses the following Chrome extension permissions:

tabs: To identify the active tab and display its domain

scripting: To inject code for ping testing within the tab

system.memory: To read current device memory stats

<all_urls>: To allow ping testing across all websites

These permissions are required solely for functionality. We do not misuse or extend them beyond their intended use.

Metricly is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from minors.
