MedTimer Data Privacy Declaration

Introduction

MedTimer is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Data Privacy Declaration (" Declaration") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and store your personal data when you use the MedTimer application. It also describes your rights regarding your personal data.

Information We Collect

Location Data: MedTimer accesses your device’s location data (fine/approximate location and background location, where granted) solely to provide the location-based snooze feature (geofencing) for medication reminders.

How it is used: Location data is processed locally on your device via Google Play Services APIs to determine when you arrive at or leave a specified area so that reminder notifications can be snoozed or triggered accordingly.

Storage & Sharing: Location data is not stored, logged, transmitted to any external servers, or shared with third parties. It is processed temporarily in-memory on your device only for as long as needed to operate the geofencing functionality.

MedTimer does not require user registration or accounts, and does not collect any other personal identifiable information.

Sharing of Your Information

We do not share your personal data with any third parties.

Data Storage

All medication schedules and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers to store or process your data.

Google Play Services: MedTimer utilizes standard Android/Google Play Services system APIs to manage geofencing and location triggers. Location processing conducted by system APIs is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to access: You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data.
