• Health & Symptom Data: When using the AI Symptom Checker, you may input physical symptoms.
• Media: If you choose to upload photos of your medicines for better identification, we access your device’s camera or gallery with your permission.

2. How We Use Your Information We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To send timely medication reminders (Push Notifications).
• To analyze your symptoms using our Smart AI and provide general insights.
• To sync your medicine cabinet across multiple devices.
• To personalize your user experience and improve app functionality.
• To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
• No Data Selling: We value your privacy. MedixAI does not and will never sell, rent, or trade your personal or medical data to third parties or advertisers.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Cloud Storage: We use secure cloud services (like Supabase) to store your medicine schedule so it is not lost if you change your phone.
• Local Storage: Some data is stored locally on your device for offline access.
• Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. Required Permissions To function correctly, MedixAI may request:

• Notifications: Required to send you medicine alerts and reminders.
• Exact Alarms: Required for high-precision timing of reminders on Android.
• Camera/Gallery: Optional, used only if you want to add photos of your medicine.

5. Third-Party Services We may use third-party services for specific features:

• Authentication: Google Sign-In for secure access.
• Database: Supabase for secure cloud storage and data synchronization.
• Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI): We use OpenAI's API to power the Smart Symptom Checker. When you use this feature, the symptoms you type and relevant medicine names are sent to OpenAI for analysis. We do not use this data to train public AI models, and it is processed strictly to provide you with insights within the app.

These providers have their own privacy policies regarding how they handle data.

6. Children's Privacy MedixAI does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us.
