Magic Reserve ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Magic Reserve mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Disney Vacation Club membership number — entered manually by you for personal reference
  • DVC contract details — resort name, point allocations, use years, and related data you enter
  • Trip and reservation plans — dates, resort, and notes you create within the App

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device identifiers — used by RevenueCat to manage your subscription state
  • Crash and diagnostic data — collected by Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix bugs
  • Subscription and purchase history — managed by Apple and RevenueCat; we receive only entitlement status (whether you are a Pro subscriber)
  • Mobile operating system information — collected for compatibility and diagnostic purposes

2. Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect precise location data from your device
  • We do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data
  • We do not collect or store your payment card information (all payments are processed by Apple)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (point calculations, contract tracking, trip planning)
  • Back up your data to the cloud so it is available across your devices (Firebase Firestore)
  • Process and verify your in-app subscription (RevenueCat)
  • Detect and fix crashes and errors (Firebase Crashlytics)
  • Send you booking deadline reminders and alerts you configure within the App

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored:

  • Locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework
  • In the cloud via Google Firebase Firestore, secured under your device's stable identifier

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, which receives only non-identifiable entitlement data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access / Correction — You can view and edit all data you have entered directly within the App
  • Deletion — You can delete your contracts, trips, and profile from within the App at any time. You may also stop all collection of information by uninstalling the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.
  • Notifications — You can disable push notifications at any time in your device Settings
  • Data Deletion Requests — To request deletion of any data held on our servers, contact us at magicreserveapp@gmail.com

Magic Reserve is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The Walt Disney Company, Disney Vacation Club, or any of their subsidiaries.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
