Lucidify is a dream journal app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.
Data We Collect
- Email address and User ID — used to create and identify your account.
- Dream journal entries — title, text, date, mood, tags, clarity and lucidity ratings you enter. Stored in your private account on our servers.
- Voice recordings — audio notes you choose to record. Stored securely in your private account. You can delete them at any time.
- App usage data — anonymous events such as "dream added" collected via Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the app is used.
- Crash reports — automatic crash logs collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and sync your dream journal across devices.
- To improve the app through analytics and crash reporting.
- We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, file storage, analytics, and crash reporting. (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
- Google Sign-In — optional sign-in method. (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
Data Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your journal entries are stored in your private Firebase account and are not accessible to other users.
Data Deletion

Children's Privacy
Lucidify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
