This privacy policy applies to the List It mobile application (the "Application") created by Vennix Software Limited (the "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is provided "AS IS."
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information to provide and improve the service. This includes:
Device and Usage Information: Your device's IP address, operating system, app diagnostics, screens viewed, feature usage, and application events collected through analytics services.
User Provided Information: To enhance your experience, we may require personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your UserID, Email, Name, and Profile Photo.
Third-Party Integration: The information you provide is linked to your Google Account. Any changes to your profile must be made through your Google Account settings.
Guest Mode: If you use the Application in guest mode, your data is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers unless you choose to sign in and use cloud-based features.
Advertising: The Application displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, and usage information to provide, measure, and personalise advertisements in accordance with Google's policies.
The Application does not gather precise location information and does not utilise Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data.
2. Information Privacy Principles (NZ Privacy Act 2020)
The Application complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 when dealing with personally identifiable information. In accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, the Service Provider adheres to the following principles:
Purpose and Use of your information: We collect information relating to your device, information you choose to provide directly, and information from approved third-party integrations. This information is collected for the purpose of operating and improving the Application, enhancing user experience, communicating with you about updates or new features, supporting list sharing functionality, and supporting long-term service improvement and business planning. We will use your information to verify you if needed, to deliver and improve the Application, to meet legal obligations and for any purposes you have authorised.
Access and Correction: The information we collect is stored in the Firestore Database. You can ask to see your information or request corrections at any time by contacting list-it-app@outlook.com. To amend your Google Account information, you need to reach out to Google directly.
Retention and Deletion: We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service. You may delete your account at any time within the Application, which will result in the removal of your personal information from our database.
Accuracy: We rely on the information provided by your Google Account to ensure accuracy.
3. Third-Party Access, Sharing, and Overseas Disclosure
We may share your information with project partners involved in the Application, with service providers who support the Application, with authorities when required by law, or with someone you have authorised. Before transmission of data, personal details are removed so individuals cannot be identified where practical.
List Sharing: When you share lists with other users, certain information is shared between accounts to enable collaboration. This may include your email address, display name, and information necessary to identify the owner or recipient of a shared list. Likewise, information about other users who share lists with you may be displayed within the Application.
Overseas Disclosure: As these service providers are located outside of New Zealand, we take reasonable steps to ensure that they are subject to privacy laws that provide comparable safeguards to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
4. Disclosure Required by Law
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.
When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or to investigate fraud.
With trusted service providers who work on our behalf and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this statement.
5. Children's Privacy
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
6. Security
We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information and prevent unauthorised access or loss.
7. Changes to this Policy
