LAUNCHGUARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 4 October 2026**
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the LaunchGuard Chrome extension, including Free features, limited Pro-feature trials and LaunchGuard Pro subscriptions.
LaunchGuard is independently developed and operated from Pakistan.
Support: bilujee512@gmail.com
By using LaunchGuard, you agree to these Terms and the LaunchGuard Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use LaunchGuard.
2. What LaunchGuard provides
LaunchGuard provides automated website pre-launch QA tools, including website checks, Launch Scores, reports, runtime monitoring, saved history, staging/production comparisons, visual comparisons, projects, custom QA rules and related developer tools. Some functionality is Free. Other features require an active LaunchGuard Pro subscription or an available Free feature trial. LaunchGuard performs automated heuristic checks. It is not a security audit, penetration test, legal-compliance audit, accessibility certification, SEO certification or guarantee that a website is error-free or ready for launch. You remain responsible for manually reviewing important findings and testing your website before deployment.
3. Authorized use
You may use LaunchGuard for your own websites and authorized client or commercial QA work. You are responsible for having permission to inspect websites, capture screenshots, process website content and use client names or branding.
You must not use LaunchGuard to:
- access systems without authorization;
- collect credentials;
- bypass access controls;
- conduct unauthorized security testing;
- distribute confidential information without permission;
- abuse Free trial or Restore Pro systems; or
- deliberately bypass subscription restrictions.
LaunchGuard reports may be shared with clients, but they must not be presented as formal certifications or guarantees.
4. Free plan and feature trials
LaunchGuard provides core Free functionality without requiring payment. Selected Pro features may include a limited number of Free uses per browser profile. Trial usage is stored locally and is not synchronized between devices. Free feature trials do not automatically create a paid subscription or charge you. After a feature's trial allowance is used, an active LaunchGuard Pro subscription may be required to continue using that feature.
5. LaunchGuard Pro and billing
LaunchGuard Pro is a paid subscription.
Available prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. The final amount, currency, applicable taxes and billing terms displayed by Paddle at checkout control the transaction. LaunchGuard may offer monthly and annual plans. Subscriptions automatically renew according to the billing period accepted at checkout unless cancelled. LaunchGuard Pro activates automatically after the subscription is successfully associated with a LaunchGuard installation. No permanent license key is required. Payments are processed by **Paddle**. LaunchGuard does not directly collect or store full payment-card details.
LaunchGuard, not Google or the Chrome Web Store, is responsible for selling and supporting LaunchGuard Pro. Google does not process LaunchGuard Pro payments or manage its subscriptions.
6. Subscription management and cancellation
Subscribers can use Paddle's Customer Portal to manage supported billing actions, including:
- viewing subscription information;
- viewing invoices;
- updating the payment method; and
- cancelling the subscription.
Uninstalling LaunchGuard or deactivating local access does **not** cancel an active subscription. If cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period, Pro access may remain available until that period ends. After the subscription is no longer entitled to Pro access, LaunchGuard returns to Free functionality.
7. Restore Pro
Restore Pro allows an eligible subscriber to restore access after reinstalling LaunchGuard, moving to a new browser profile or using another device. Restore requires access to the email address used for the Paddle purchase. A temporary verification code may be sent to that email address. A successful restore transfers the subscription's LaunchGuard installation binding to the current installation. LaunchGuard currently intends one normal active installation binding per subscription. Restoring to a new installation can therefore cause the previously bound installation to lose Pro access.
8. Refund policy
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal according to Paddle's cancellation terms but does not automatically refund previous charges. LaunchGuard does not promise automatic refunds for partially used billing periods.
Refunds may be provided where:
- required by applicable law;
- required under Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms or Refund Policy;
- there is a verified duplicate or incorrect charge; or
- we approve a refund for an appropriate billing or service issue.
To request a refund, contact: bilujee512@gmail.com
Include the purchase email and enough transaction information to identify the purchase, but do not send full payment-card details. Paddle may process approved refunds and may apply its own buyer and payment-processing rules. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory refund, withdrawal or consumer-protection rights that apply to you.
9. Local data and availability
Most website QA information is stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for exporting or backing up reports and records that you need. Clearing browser data, uninstalling LaunchGuard, device failure or browser storage limitations may remove local information. LaunchGuard cannot recover website scans that existed only in your browser. We may update LaunchGuard to fix bugs, improve security or maintain compatibility with Chrome. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every website or availability of every third-party service at all times.
10. Privacy and third-party services
Use of LaunchGuard is also subject to the LaunchGuard Privacy Policy. LaunchGuard uses services including Chrome, Paddle, Vercel, Neon and Google/Gmail for specific operational purposes described in that policy. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. LaunchGuard is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Google or Chrome.
11. Warranty and liability
LaunchGuard is provided as available.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that automated findings are complete, accurate or suitable as the sole basis for security, accessibility, legal, SEO or deployment decisions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by reliance on automated QA results, third-party outages or loss of browser-local data. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Changes and contact
You may stop using LaunchGuard at any time. Paid subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Paddle.
We may update these Terms when LaunchGuard, its pricing, service providers or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date will be revised when changes are made. Questions about LaunchGuard, billing, refunds or these Terms can be sent to:
