 Kshethra ("we", "our", or "the app") is a temple companion app built for devotees visiting Kukke Subrahmanya
 Temple and surrounding areas. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information
 you share with us.
 
 This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding
 that data.
 
 Data We Collect
 
 1. Device Identifier
 
 We generate a random unique device ID (stored locally on your device) to associate your room requests, reviews,
 and help requests with your device. This is not your phone's hardware ID and cannot identify you personally.
 
 2. Location Data
 
 With your explicit permission, we access your device's location to show nearby facilities (washrooms, parking,
 restaurants, ATMs), calculate distances, and provide directions. Location data is used in real-time only and is
 not stored on our servers.
 
 3. Name & Phone/WhatsApp Number
 
 When you submit a room request or help request, you provide your name and WhatsApp number so the temple
 administration can contact you. This information is sent to our server and stored only for the purpose of
 processing your request.
 
 4. Review Content
 
 When you write a review, your display name, rating, and review text are stored and may be displayed publicly
 (after moderation) to help other devotees.
 
 Data We Do NOT Collect
 
 - We do not collect your email address, Aadhaar, photos, contacts, or call logs.
 - We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties.
 - We do not access your camera, microphone, or files.
 
 How We Use Your Data
 
 - To process room booking and help requests.
 - To display reviews for other devotees.
 - To show you nearby facilities and directions.
 - To improve the app experience (anonymous crash reports, if enabled in future).
 
 Data Storage & Security
 
 Your data is transmitted securely (HTTPS) and stored on protected servers. We retain room/help request data only
 as long as needed to process your request. Reviews are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
 
 Your Rights
 
 - You can deny location permission and still use most app features.
 - You can request deletion of your reviews or request data by contacting us.
 - You can uninstall the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data.
 
 Third-Party Services
 
 - Google Maps SDK — for map display and directions (subject to Google's privacy policy).
 - Expo Push Notifications — for optional temple updates (if enabled in future).
 
 Children's Privacy
 
 We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has
 provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
 
 Changes to This Policy
 
 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the "Last Updated" date at the top.
 Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
