All application functionality is available offline.
4. Local Data Storage
Information entered into Hodor is stored locally on the user’s device using a local SQLite database and local application preferences.
The data remains within the application storage on the user’s device and is not intentionally transmitted by Hodor to FameX or any third party.
The local database does not use separate database-level encryption. The data is generally protected by the Android operating system’s application storage protections and by the security settings of the user’s device.
Users are responsible for protecting their devices using appropriate security measures, such as a PIN, password, pattern, or biometric lock.
5. Android Backup and Restore
Depending on the user’s Android device, Google account settings, operating system version, and backup settings, Android may automatically back up or restore some locally stored application data.
Such backup or restoration is managed by the Android operating system or the user’s device backup provider. FameX does not initiate, control, receive, or access these backups.
Users can review or manage their device backup settings through their Android device settings.
6. How Information Is Used
Information entered into Hodor is processed locally only to provide the application’s core functions, including:
- Managing employee records.
- Recording attendance and absences.
- Calculating commitment percentages.
- Calculating suggested salaries.
- Creating monthly archives.
- Displaying employee and monthly performance statistics.
FameX does not use this information for any independent purpose.
7. Data Sharing
FameX does not share employee information or application data with other companies, organizations, advertisers, or external service providers.
Hodor does not contain a feature for exporting or sharing employee data through PDF files, spreadsheets, messaging applications, email, or external websites.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Employee information remains stored locally on the user’s device until one of the following actions occurs:
- The user deletes the employee from within the application.
- The user clears the application’s storage through the Android device settings.
- The user uninstalls the application.
Deleting an employee from within Hodor removes that employee’s information from the application’s active local records.
Archived monthly data may remain stored until the application’s storage is cleared or the application is uninstalled.
Uninstalling Hodor generally removes the local application data from the device. However, if Android backup is enabled, the operating system may retain or restore a backup according to the user’s device and Google account settings.
Because FameX does not collect or store user information on its own servers, FameX does not possess a remote copy of the user’s employee records and cannot retrieve, delete, or restore such records.
9. Application Permissions
Hodor does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as:
- Camera.
- Microphone.
- Location.
- Contacts.
- Photos or media.
- External files.
- SMS messages.
- Phone or call records.
- Calendar.
- Notifications.
10. Third-Party Services
Hodor does not integrate advertising networks, analytics platforms, cloud databases, external login providers, or third-party tracking services.
Operating-system services, including Android backup and restore functionality, may operate according to the user’s device settings and the relevant service provider’s terms and privacy policies.
11. Security
Hodor is designed to keep information locally on the user’s device and does not intentionally transmit employee data over the internet.
However, no device or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should maintain control of their devices, use a secure screen lock, and avoid allowing unauthorized individuals to access the application.
FameX is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from a lost, stolen, compromised, rooted, or otherwise insecure device.
12. Children’s Privacy
Hodor is intended for adult business and shop owners.
The application is not designed or directed toward children under the age of 13, and FameX does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
FameX may update this Privacy Policy if the application’s features, data practices, or legal requirements change.
Any updated version will include a revised effective date. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
