# Privacy Policy for HisaabKaro

HisaabKaro ("the app," "we," "our") is a wedding budget tracker built for a couple sharing one
household. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it lives, and who can
see it.
## What information the app stores
When you use HisaabKaro, you enter information about your wedding budget, including:
- Household details (names, wedding date, base currency)
- Wedding functions/events (name, date, venue, city, guest count, budget)
- Budget line items (descriptions, vendors, amounts, categories)
- Payments and contracts (amounts, due dates, paid status, refund terms)
- Funding sources (who is contributing money and how much)
This is information you type in yourself. We don't collect it from anywhere else, and we don't
ask for anything beyond what the app needs to track a wedding budget.
## Where your information is stored
- **On your device**, in a local database, for the app to work.
- **In your own private iCloud account**, via Apple's CloudKit, so your data can sync between
your devices and be shared with the one other person (your partner) you invite into your
household.
We do not run our own servers and do not store your data anywhere outside of Apple's iCloud
infrastructure and your own device.
## Who can see your information
Only you and the person you explicitly invite to share your household (through the app's own
"Invite partner" feature) can see your data. We — the developer — cannot see it. It is not sold,
shared, or made available to any third party.
## Tracking and analytics
HisaabKaro does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track
you across other apps or websites, and the app does not request or use Apple's App Tracking
Transparency permission because it doesn't track anything.
## Third-party services
The only external service HisaabKaro uses is Apple's CloudKit, for sync and sharing between your
own devices and your partner's. Apple's own privacy practices govern how CloudKit handles that
data — see [Apple's Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) for details.
The app does not integrate with any other third-party service, does not include ads, and does not
use in-app purchases.
## Permissions the app requests
HisaabKaro does not request access to your camera, photos, contacts, location, or microphone. The
only account it uses is your existing iCloud account, for sync — the app does not have its own
sign-up or login system.
## Exporting and deleting your data
You can export your budget data as CSV or JSON files directly from the app at any time, and you
can restore from a backup file the same way. Once you export a file, what happens to it (where
you save it, who you send it to) is up to you and is no longer covered by this policy.
To delete your data, delete the relevant events, items, or payments within the app, or delete the
app itself to remove everything stored locally. Because your data lives in your own private
iCloud account, you're also always in control of it directly through your iCloud settings on your
device.
## Children's privacy
HisaabKaro is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not
knowingly collect information from children.
## Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app
after a change means you accept the updated policy.
